The Wife of Nobel Character

(Proverbs 31:10-31)

"...Many women have done wonderful things, but you've outclassed them all!" 

I often ponder the bible passage on the Wife of Nobel Character and wonder what it means for today. I also wonder what would be written if there was a passage on the Husband of Nobel Character.  What are the roles within the family today?  What does "Nobel Character" mean?  Proverbs 31 teaches us not what specific duties the woman must perform but teaches that the woman be a woman of respect that serves, without high regard of herself, her family and those less fortunate.  If we were to write the Husband of Nobel Character, I believe the same to be true.  A family sacrifices and servers each other and the community at large. It is my prayer that our family be a family of service and that is the purpose of this blog.  This blog is to share our lives with others that we may inspire our community.  It is a record of lives.
